NORFOLK, Va., April 2, 2018—
Bethune-Cookman senior Daniel Brennan and
Augusta senior Broc Everett were named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Co-Golfers of the Month, the conference office announced today.
Brennan (5-10, Sr., Shannon, Ireland) led Bethune-Cookman in the month of March, as the Wildcats won two of the four tournaments in which they competed. He took individual gold in the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational after shooting a 2-over 218 (76-69-73), and he tied for eighth at the Lonnie Barton Invitational with a 5-over 149 (74-75), another tournament in which Bethune-Cookman won gold. In 11 total rounds, Brennan broke par twice and had four rounds at 1-over.
Everett (6-4, Sr., West Des Moines, Iowa) broke 70 in four of the nine rounds he played in March, highlighted by his third-place effort in the 3M Augusta Invitational – a tournament in which Everett shot an 8-under 208 (71-72-65). He was tied for seventh at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational after going 66-67-77 to end up even, and he went 74-69-71 (214, -2) at the Linger Longer Invitational. The 65 Everett shot in the final round of the Augusta Invitational was his best round of the season.

Jordan Bohannon (NCCU) went 73-75-73 (221, +5) to finish seventh in the Manor Intercollegiate hosted by Longwood.
Zach Otto (SSU) shot a 7-over 151 (75-76) at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships.
