MEAC Announces Men's Golf Monthly Honors

NORFOLK, Va., March 1, 2018Bethune-Cookman senior Daniel Brennan was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Golfer of the Month, the conference office announced today.
 
Brennan (5-10, Sr., Shannon, Ireland) was key in Bethune-Cookman winning the Stetson Legacy Intercollegiate in a one-hole playoff over Florida Gulf Coast. Brennan also won the individual title in a playoff, shooting a three-round score of 214 (71-67-76, 2-under) before defeating Florida Atlantic’s Sully Zagerman in one playoff hole. Dating back to the fall season, Brennan has won two of his last three events.
 
Other Top Performers
Broc Everett (AUG) led the defending MEAC champions at the Southwestern Invitational, shooting a 226 (80-74-72).
 
Mulbe Dillard (FAMU) shot an opening-round 2-under 70 at the William & Mary Invitational.
 
Cole Madison (SSU) was tied for seventh in the William & Mary Invitational with a 2-under 214 (73-69-72).
