North Carolina A&T State's Brandon Parker and South Carolina State's Darius Leonard have been invited to the 2018 NFL Combine, which will take place Feb. 27-March 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
The official list of participants was released on Tuesday.
Parker is the reigning MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year, and his prowess in the trenches was a big part of why the Aggies finished a perfect 12-0 this past season and won the Celebration Bowl. The 6-foot-7, 309-pound tackle was dominant this past season, helping quarterback Lamar Raynard put together a MEAC Offensive Player of the Year-caliber season.
Leonard was named MEAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season in 2017, and in January he participated in the Senior Bowl. He had 114 tackles and 8.5 sacks this past season, and he was also named HBCU Gameday's National Defensive Player of the Year.
Parker and Leonard are two of the three HBCU players to be invited. Southern defensive back Danny Johnson was also invited.
