NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 21, 2018—Coppin State sophomore Brittanie Cahua was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Cahua (So., Lima, Peru) led Coppin State to a 4-3 defeat of Saint Peter’s this past Saturday, winning her No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-2 over Stephanie Falcon. She also teamed with Tinashe Gwaze for a 6-3 doubles win over Falcon and Azuri Hughes.

Angelica Martinez (NCAT) picked up a doubles win against College of Charleston, teaming with Kanishka Chawla for a 7-5 win over Laura Arciniegas and Ava Turner.
