Bethune-Cookman Moves Into CollegeInsider's Women's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman is ranked 25th in the latest CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25, released Tuesday evening.

The two-time defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular-season champion Lady Wildcats made their first-ever Division I national ranking after running their winning streak to 11 with a 57-47 victory over North Carolina Central Monday night.

Bethune-Cookman (19-4 overall, 11-0 MEAC)  is one victory away from its first 20-win regular season since 1984-85.

"This is a historical moment for our program. The acknowledgment just proves what hard work and commitment to a purpose will do," said B-CU head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis. "I am so proud of these ladies and my coaching staff for believing in the goals  we set for this program."
