Florida A&M Narrowly Falls to Oregon on the Road

EUGENE, Ore. -- Justin Ravenal led three Florida A&M players in double figures with 15 points Tuesday evening, and the Rattlers ended the game on a 13-0 run, but it wasn't enough as Oregon held on for a 71-64 victory in Matthew Knight Arena.

The Rattlers (3-10) also got 12 points from Bryce Moragne and 10 from M.J. Randolph.

Florida A&M got off to a strong start, leading 18-11 at the 9:28 mark of the first half. But the Ducks ran off 17 unanswered points, grabbing a 28-18 lead with five minutes left in the frame. Ultimately, Oregon took a 15-point lead, 38-23, into the half.

That momentum carried through much of the second half, and the Ducks led by as many as 23 -- going up 65-42 with 6:36 remaining in the contest. And even though Oregon went the last 3:03 without a field goal, the Rattlers couldn't get closer than within seven.

Victor Bailey Jr. led three Ducks in double figures with 16 points.
