The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced a public reprimand and fine of Morgan State University head men's basketball coach Todd Bozeman.
Coach Bozeman violated the MEAC’s Bylaw on criticizing officials which states that members of the coaching staffs, student-athletes, or other representatives of participating institutions shall not make public statements critical of officiating in any MEAC contests or events.
Coach Bozeman made negative comments regarding the officiating at his postgame press conference following the Morgan State/Howard contest on March 9.
In addition to the public reprimand, Bozeman will be fined $500 per conference policy.
