MEAC Announces Weekly Bowling Honors

Maryland Eastern Shore graduate student Thashaina Seraus was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference announced today.

Seraus (5-3, Gr., Oranjestad, Aruba) averaged 200.25 pins in traditional play this past weekend in the MEAC Northern Divisional #3 meet hosted by Howard, and she averaged 197 pins over all frames. Her strike rate was nearly 50 percent, and Seraus converted all of her single-pin spares for the weekend. She bowled a weekend-best 230 against Howard and had a 220 against Delaware State.

Other Top Performers

Mya Hamlett (CSU) averaged 176.0 pins this past weekend in conference play, including a weekend-best 189 against Delaware State.

Brianna MacLeod (DSU) helped the Lady Hornets to a 6-2 weekend in the MEAC Northern Divisional #3, averaging 195.7 pins in traditional play.
