GREENSBORO, N.C. - Appalachian State scored three runs in the first inning and eight over the final three innings to claim a non-conference road win at North Carolina A&T State.

Appalachian State scored three times in the first behind the strength of four hits. A&T would regroup and hold them scoreless over the next three innings before adding a run in the fourth to trail 3-1. However, ASU tacked on eight runs over the final three frames which created a gap too large for the Aggies to overcome.

Kim Brunson and Nathaly Pacheco led A&T with two hits apiece.
