NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced today the 2016 MEAC Softball All-Academic team, including 78 student-athletes who achieved academic success during the 2015-16 school year. The MEAC recognizes student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, including sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as transfer student-athletes, who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year.

“On behalf of the conference, I would like to offer my congratulations to all of our softball student-athletes who have maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during the academic school year,” said Commissioner Dr. Dennis E. Thomas. “I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the institutional athletic academic support staffs, the coaches and the parents who all played a vital role in the success of the student-athletes.”
