Bohannon Leads NCCU at East Carolina Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – North Carolina Central University sophomore Jordan Bohannon led the way for the Eagles by tying for 48th on the leaderboard at the East Carolina Intercollegiate golf tournament on April 4-5, hosted by East Carolina University at Brook Valley Country Club.

A native of Southfield, Michigan, Bohannon posted back-to-back scores of 78 on Monday, then recorded an 83 on Tuesday to finish at 23-over-par.

NCCU senior Jerome Bostwick was the next Eagle on the leaderboard in 71st place with a three-round total of 253, including a career-low score of 77 in Tuesday’s final round.

In a highly-competitive field, NCCU finished last among 13 teams with scores of 344-328-339. Event host East Carolina topped the team standings with a 16-over-par 880, which was 23 strokes better than runners-up Florida Gulf Coast and Campbell.

Up next for NCCU is the MEAC Championship on April 21-23 at the Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Georgia.
