In game two, Tracy was 3-for-3 and a run scored for the Maroon and Gray but the Lady Tigers tacked on 13 more runs to complete the sweep. However, Savannah State left 11 runners on base to keep NCCU within striking distance in the nightcap.
Sophomore starter Ashley Eichenlaub (3-5) had four strikeouts in the complete-game victory.
Freshman Cortni Jones led Savannah State with three hits while both sophomore Brianna Harris and junior Alexis Singleton both drove in a pair of runs.
