NORFOLK, Va. — Morgan State senior Evan Ward and Norfolk State sophomore Dajana Cvjetkovic were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s and Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week, the conference announced today.

Ward (Sr., Upper Marlboro, Md.) recorded one win, at the No. 4 singles spot, against Hofstra. The 6-2, 6-3 victory, over Gustav Akesson, was the only Morgan State win of that match.

Cvjetkovic (So., Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina) picked up one win in the No. 1 singles position. She registered a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Longwood’s Fallon Burger.
