NORFOLK, Va.—Norfolk State’s Mikki Haury was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Teammates Stephanie Davenport earned Rookie of the Week, while Megan Przeslawski was named Pitcher of the Week.
Haury (SS, 5-7, Jr., Seattle, Wash.) recorded a .778 batting average in four games against Rhode Island. She finished with four runs on seven hits, including two doubles and three RBIs. She belted one home run in the third game of the series.
Davenport (SS/UT, 5-7, Fr., Richmond, Va.) went 4-for-6 at the plate, including one home run and four RBIs, in three games against Rhode Island. She batted .667 and stole one base in a 4-3 victory.
Przeslawski (P, 5-9, So., Tampa, Fla.) earned one victory in three games against Rhode Island. She posted a 2.10 ERA in 10.0 innings pitched, allowing six runs. She tied a career-high nine strikeouts, in an 8-4 win.

Kaitlin Alamprese (B-CU) batted .438 (7-for-16), with two home runs, six RBIs and three runs scored, in five games at the Hatter Classic.
Nicole Gazzola (DSU) became Delaware State’s all-time hits leader (225) after going 7-for-16, including one triple, at the Blue Hen Blast.
Vanessa Gomez (UMES) went 3-for-10 with three runs scored, two RBIs and two doubles, at the Camel Stampede.
Amanda Hallman (SSU) averaged .632 at the plate, with two home runs, five doubles, and eight RBIs, in seven games.
Cortni Jones (SSU) went 7-for-23 with seven runs scored, five RBIs, three doubles and two home runs, in seven games.
