Phoenix Fly Past Lady Eagles
ELON, N.C. – Senior Aissa Muamba was winning her singles match but was not able to complete the victory when play was stopped in her second set after host Elon University clinched a 4-0 non-conference victory over North Carolina Central University on Saturday afternoon at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
The Phoenix improved to 5-8 overall with their third straight win. The Lady Eagles were unable to win for a second straight day in dipping to 1-6.
