TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida A&M University (FAMU) atheltics officials announced Wednesday morning the cancellation of the softball doubleheader with the University of North Florida, slated to start at 4:00 p.m. at the Softball Complex.

Wet ground remained from this past weekend's heavy rains, and the field was deemed unplayable for Wednesday'scontests.

FAMU (14-19) will now turn their focus back to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play, as they host two league series on back-to-back weekends - South Carolina State this weekend, and North Carolina A&T next weekend (April 9-10).
