PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — Dominique Elliott capped off a stellar senior campaign for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with another honor on Friday as the senior co-captain was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All District 15 First Team.
Teammate and co-captain, Devin Martin earned second-team honors.
Elliott, a 6-foot-8, 265-pound forward/center averaged 14.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and shot 54 percent from the field this season – good for third on the all-time single season list for the Hawks. He led or tied for the team lead in rebounds in 24 of 32 games this season.
Martin led the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game, second in assists at 2.1 per game, led the team in 3-pointers with 67 and chipped in 4.6 rebounds a contest. He scored 34 points at American University and topped it one game later with a career-high 37 at home against Central Penn.
