TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The FAMU Men’s Tennis team dodged rain showers early on an otherwise cold and blustery Saturday afternoon, but still dropped a hard-fought 5-2 decision to the visiting College of Charleston at the FAMU Tennis Courts.

FAMU (1-7) got wins from Karlyn Small over Vasily Kichigin, 7-5, 7-5 at the #2 singles, and from Walner Espinoza over Charlie Chriskey, 6-7, 7-6, 10-6 at #4 singles.

The #2 FAMU doubles duo of Courage Okungbowa and Illya Skoromnyy, defeated Charleston’s Ghriskey and Zack Lewis, 6-4.
