DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- In its fourth match decided on the final point, Bethune-Cookman dropped a 4-3 decision to Lynn Tuesday afternoon.

The Wildcats (2-6) are now 2-2 in matches that go the distance this spring.

Ranked sixth nationally in Division II, Lynn (3-1) took the win with Daniel Riggs' victory at No. 1 singles.

Greg Almeida, Jose Plazas and Alvaro Barrera took singles wins for the Wildcats.  Barrera has won three straight singles matches,

The Wildcats return to action March 1 with matches against ASA College and Mount St. Mary's.
