NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State red-shirt sophomore Alexa Rodriguez was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference announced today.
Rodriguez (5-2, r-So., Carolina, Puerto, Rico) finished second at the MEAC Southern Divisional #1 Meet. She rolled three 200-plus games, including a 209 in a win against Florida A&M. Also, she averaged a 204.7 pinfall at the event.

Kiersten Bateman (MSU) averaged a 180.7 pinfall, in four traditional matches, at the MEAC Northern Divisional #1 Meet.
Mya Hamlett (CSU) registered a 190.7 average in traditional matches at the MEAC Northern Divisional #1 Meet.
Chelsey Merklinger (DSU) posted a team-high pinfall (806) and average (201.5) at the MEAC Northern Divisional #1 Meet.
Ivory Miles (B-CU) averaged 214.0 across three traditional matches, including rolling a 225 against Norfolk State, at the MEAC Southern Divisional #1 Meet.
Thashaina Seraus (MDES) rolled two 200-plus games in traditional matches at the MEAC Northern Divisional #1 Meet.
