ORANGEBURG, S.C. - South Carolina State had five players in double-figures with junior guard James "JJ" Richardson leading the way with a team-high 20 points, as the Bulldogs rolled to a 93-76 victory over St. Andrews Monday (Nov. 14) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

VALPARAISO, Ind. - Three Eagles scored in double figures led by senior Terry Harris Jr.'s 15 points in a 78-58 road loss to Valparaiso on Monday, Nov. 14 at the ARC.

Marquette 81, Howard 49

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Howard University men's basketball team followed the pattern from its opener at the University of Michigan by jumping out to the early lead, then settling in to a toe to toe battle before succumbing to a late run that closed out the first half to put the game away as Marquette pulled away to an 81-49 win over the Bison in the 2K Classic for Wounded Soldiers. 

Ohio State 69, North Carolina Central 63

COLUMBUS, Ohio - North Carolina Central University senior guard Patrick Cole (Newark, N.J.) stole the show on national television as he torched the net for a game-high 26 points, but Ohio State held the Eagles at bay for a 69-63 final on Monday, Nov. 14 at the Value City Arena.
