NORFOLK, Va. — North Carolina Central senior Casey Curran was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the Week, while NCCU teammate Paige Phillips was named the Setter of the Week, the conference announced today.
Curran (OH, 5-11, Sr., Garden City, Kan.) tailed 18.5 points and a double-double in kills and digs, in a 3-2 win over North Carolina A&T State. She recorded 16 kills, 16 digs, three service aces and one block in the victory.
Phillips (S, 5-7, Jr., Birmingham, Ala.) notched her fifth double-double of the season in a victory over North Carolina A&T State. She posted 41 assists and 19 digs, with one block and one service ace, in the 3-2 win.

Alyssa Pitt (NCAT) registered 20 kills, two blocks and one dig against North Carolina Central.
