NORFOLK, Va. – Bethune-Cookman senior Delicia Pierre was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the Week. Hampton’s Reeana Richardson earned Rookie of the Week honors, the conference announced today.
Pierre (OH, 6-2, Sr., Tunapuna, Trinidad & Tobago) totaled 39 kills, 25 digs, four blocks, three service aces and two assists against Stetson, Savannah State and South Carolina State. She collected 18 kills and hit .382, with six digs, in a three-set victory over South Carolina State.
Richardson (OH, 5-10, Fr., Ellicott City, Md.) hit .319 in a pair of conference matches against Morgan State and Coppin State. She recorded her first-career double-double of 28 kills and 10 digs, while hitting .431, in a 3-2 loss to Coppin State.

Lucia Babic (UMES) posted seven kills, three digs and two blocks in a loss to Howard.
Tamika Breeke (NCCU) recorded a team-high 13 digs, in a 3-0 victory, against North Carolina A&T State.
Courtney Dalton (HOW) notched 19 kills and two digs in conference wins against Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State.
Khaila Donaldson (HOW) tallied 20 kills and 15 digs in a four-set victory over Delaware State.
Hope Forsythe (NSU) registered 23 digs, 18 kills and four blocks in a five-set loss to Morgan State.
Jasmine Jackson (DSU) averaged a double-double of 15.0 kills and 13.5 digs against Fairleigh Dickinson and Howard.
Caitlynn Masoe (SSU) totaled 57 assists, 21 digs, 16 kills and eight blocks in four matches.
Kelsey Murphy (NCCU) posted a double-double of 15 kills and 10 digs in a 3-0 victory against North Carolina A&T State.
Cindy Okpegbue (CSU) registered 16 kills, nine digs and two service aces in aiding the Lady Eagles to their first victory at Hampton since 2005.
Samantha Polk (CSU) posted 13 kills and five digs in a five-set win over Hampton.
Haley Robinson (UMES) tallied 11 kills and seven digs in a 3-0 loss to Howard.
Makayla Tam (SSU) recorded a double-double of 11 digs and 10 kills in a loss to The Citadel.
