KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Hampton University redshirt junior guard/forward Dwight Meikle was named Second Team All-District 15 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), as the teams were announced on Friday.

The teams were voted on by NABC member coaches.

Meikle had four double-doubles on the season, as well as four 20-point efforts. He dropped a career-high 28 points against Northern Arizona on Dec. 21, while also grabbing 15 rebounds. That was the first of three straight double-digit rebounding efforts for Meikle, who grabbed a career-high 19 boards on Jan. 3 at USC Upstate.

He also had 26 points against North Carolina Central, and Meikle ended the regular season with back-to-back 20-point efforts – dropping 21 points at Delaware State on March 2 before scoring 24 against Norfolk State on March 5.
