CHESAPEAKE, Va. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) completed the second day of the 2015 MEAC Bowling Championship at the AMF Lanes in Chesapeake, Virginia.
The two-time defending MEAC Tournament champions and top-seeded Maryland Eastern Shore Lady Hawks bowled their way into the championship match defeating Florida A&M (4-2) and Bethune-Cookman (4-0 and 4-2) to grab a spot into the title match.
No. 6 Norfolk State rolled its way into the final by upsetting Delaware State (4-1) in the opening round, before knocking off North Carolina A&T State (4-2) in the second round of the winner’s bracket. The Spartans defeated Delaware State (4-0) in a rematch of the opening-round contest to earn a spot into tomorrow’s final.
The 2015 MEAC Bowling Championship wraps up on tomorrow with the championship final at noon. The championship match will be televised in a tape-delayed format and will air on ESPNU on March 30 at 9:00 p.m.
