NORFOLK, Va. – Howard’s Al’asia Davis earned the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Player of the Week honor, the conference announced on Monday. Mariah Davis of Bethune-Cookman was selected the Rookie of the Week.
Al’asia Davis (OF, 5-4, Sr., Seattle, Wash.) went 4-for-8 (.500), with two doubles, at the Santa Clara Marriott Invitational. She finished 2-for-3 with a run scored in a loss to Washington.
Mariah Davis (OF, 5-0, Fr., Madera, Calif.) finished with two hits, one RBI and one run scored in a loss to Mississippi at the Florida International tournament.

Candice Van Horn (CSU) went 2-for-4 with one home run in a loss to Wagner.
