Women

MIAMI - Maria Garoz-Mareno won both her singles matches on Sunday afternoon as Bethune-Cookman split its matches with Hillsborough CC and FIU.

The Lady Wildcats (3-5) shut out Hillsborough 7-0 then took a 5-2 setback to FIU.
Garoz-Mareno, a freshman downed Jovana Milosevic 6-1,6-0 then rallied to beat FIU's Nina Nagode 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9) to improve to 4-3 on the season.

Bethune-Cookman begins a five-match home stand Tuesday against Mount St. Mary's.

Men

MIAMI - Bethune-Cookman snapped a five-match losing streak Sunday with a 7-2 decision over St. Thomas.

Gilbert Rotich and Pablo Lopez  each won their singles match and won a doubles victory as the Wildcats improved to 2-5.

Alvarro Barrera and Kevin Deligny won singles matches for Bethune-Cookman, begins a five-match home stand Tuesday against Mount St. Mary's
