SAVANNAH, Ga.- The softball doubleheader between the Savannah State University Lady Tigers and the University of Georgia , scheduled for February 25 on the SSU campus, has been postponed due to inclement weather.  The teams will make-up the games on March 2 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. , weather permitting.  

SSU (2-4) is undefeated at home this season and is led by Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Player of the Year Torrian Wright who is batting .769 with five home runs, nine runs and nine RBI.

UGA is 2-2 in neutral site games and  has yet to play a true road game. Alex Hugo is batting .512 for the Bulldogs (12-2) with five homers and 25 RBI.
