DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman snapped a four-match losing streak Tuesday with a 5-2 victory over Oakland at City Island Tennis Center.
The Lady Wildcats (2-4) hadn't won since downing Florida Atlantic on opening day.
Mina Matsuba, Gaby Chinchilla, Chinatsu Kajiwara and Adel Musina each got back into the win column in singles play.
Musina registered her first doubles victory of the season, combining with Ancia Ifill, who also registered her first win of the season, at No. 2 doubles as the Lady Wildcats swept all three matches from Oakland (1-6) to take the doubles point.
The Lady Wildcats head to Miami for a three-match road swing, facing Hillsborough and St. Thomas Saturday and FIU Sunday.
