NORFOLK, Va. – Maryland Eastern Shore senior Thashaina Seraus was selected as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference announced today.
Seraus (Sr., Oranjestad, Aruba) finished first with 976 total pins and averaged a 244.0 pinfall at the MEAC Northern Divisional #2 Meet. She rolled four 200-plus games, including a high of 269, in a win against Howard.

Jasmine April (B-CU) led all performers at the MEAC Southern Divisional #2, posting three 200-plus games, including a high of 227, in a win against Hampton.
Michele Harper (FAMU) posted two 200-plus games, including a 213, in a win over Hampton at the MEAC Southern Divisional #2 Meet.
Carrie Hickey (NSU) finished second at the MEAC Southern Divisional #2 Meet, averaging 200.8 total pinfall.
Chelsey Merklinger (DSU) placed second with a season-best 239.5 pinfall average at the MEAC Northern Divisional #2 Meet.
