NORFOLK, Va. — Devin Martin of Maryland Eastern Shore was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Cameron Lewis, of Howard, earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Norfolk State’s Jordan Butler was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Martin (G, 6-4, 205, Sr., Baltimore, Md.) registered a career-high 37 points and 10 rebounds in a 115-86 win over Central Pennsylvania. Also, he shot 78-percent (14-of-18) from the floor and was perfect (2-of-2) from the charity stripe in 34 minutes of action.
Lewis (F/C, 6-8, 220, Fr., Buffalo, N.Y.) came off the bench to record six points, five rebounds and one block in 17 minutes of action against Maryland Baltimore County.
Butler (F, 6-6, 245, So., Hartford, Conn.) totaled 21 boards and two blocks against UTEP and UC Irvine. He grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds against UC Irvine.

Cedric Blossom (MSU) registered 17 points, 12 rebounds and two steals against Rider.
Damon Collins (HOW) tallied 14 points, with a team-high seven rebounds, and one assist against UMBC.
James Daniel, III (HOW) posted a game-high 19 points, connecting on 8-of-9 free-throws, against UMBC.
Jeremiah Ingram (NCCU) averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds against Southern Illinois and Eastern Illinois.
Jordan Potts (B-CU) poured in a career-high 35 points, including seven 3-pointers, in a non-conference matchup against Central Florida.
Thomas Rivera (UMES) recorded a career-high 12 points, with two rebounds, six assists and three steals in the win over Central Pennsylvania.
Jeff Short (NSU) averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists against UTEP and UC Irvine.
