NORFOLK, Va. – Maryland Eastern Shore senior Thashaina Seraus was selected as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference announced today.
Seraus (Sr., Oranjestad, Aruba) finished fifth at the UMES Hawk Classic, averaging a 207.83 total pinfall, in six team matches. She rolled three 200-plus matches, including a high of 254 in a win against No. 8 Central Missouri. Also, Seraus earned All-Tournament Team honors during the weekend.
Other Top Performers:
Briana Gardner (NSU) averaged a career-best 196.2 pinfall, with a high of 231 against Saint Francis (Pa.), at the UMES Hawk Classic.
Kristyn Mitchell (HOW) registered a 171.3 pinfall average at the UMES Hawk Classic.
Stephanie Sheridan (DSU) recorded three 200-plus games, including a high of 204 against Tulane, at the UMES Hawk Classic.
