PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Similar to their match against Hampton, University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Volleyball head coach Toby Rens and the Hawks have rescheduled tonight’s match against the Norfolk State Spartans.
Following the University’s announcement that it would error on the side of caution and cancel all weekend activities, the Hawks arranged for a new date with the Spartans. The two conference foes have moved their contest to Friday, November 13, the same night UMES Women’s Basketball head coach Fred Batchelor and the Lady Hawks open their 2015-16 campaign season against Georgetown.
The action begins at 6 p.m. inside the William P. Hytche Athletic Center where UMES looks to even the score against the Hoyas. Approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion between Maryland Eastern Shore and Georgetown, the volleyball team wraps up the regular season against the Spartans.
