ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women’s lost a non-conference match 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21) against Wofford (11-11) on Tuesday night at Dukes Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs are now 2-13 on the season.
Brianna Dafney led S.C. State with a match-high 12 kills for her second straight match with double-digit kills. Marcella Chestnut had 14 digs and Melanie Williams had a double-double of 35 assists and 11 digs.
Alex Holland paced the Terriers with 11 kills, while Molly Mayo had 39 assists and 10 digs and Jessica Graham recorded a match-high 19 digs.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Boiling Springs, N.C. to take on Gardner-Webb on Saturday at 4 p.m.
