NORFOLK, Va. – Rae Corbo of Norfolk State was chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Maryland Eastern Shore’s Moengaroa Subritzky was named Rookie of the Week, while Racquel Davis of North Carolina Central earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Corbo (G, 5-6, So., Englewood, N.J.) scored 30 points, including 11-of-14 from the free-throw line, to help the Spartans rally from a 19-point second-half deficit to defeat North Carolina A&T State, 76-75, in overtime. She also recorded 19 points, two rebounds and two assists in a loss to South Carolina State.
Subritzky (G, 5-10, Fr., Auckland, New Zealand) totaled 30 points, 16 rebounds, two blocks and two steals against South Carolina State and Bethune-Cookman. She recorded a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Davis (C, 6-0, Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.) averaged 12.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals against Hampton and Coppin State. She registered a double-double of 24 points and 16 boards, along with two blocks and two steals, in a 59-58 win over Coppin State.

Olivia Antilla (FAMU) recorded 19 points, five boards and three assists in a conference win against Howard.
Kendra Cooper (B-CU) averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in wins against Morgan State and Maryland Eastern Shore.
Tiyonda Davis (SSU) totaled 25 rebounds, 13 points, five blocks and two steals against Delaware State and Hampton.
Ezinne Kalu (SSU) recorded 23 points, including 8-of-10 from the free-throw line, and grabbed four rebounds in a 61-55 win over Hampton.
Dawn King (FAMU) shot 60-percent (6-of-10) from the floor to finish with 17 points in a loss to Coppin State.
Kayla Roberts (NSU) registered a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds against North Carolina A&T State.
Nia Roberts (NSU) notched 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a loss to South Carolina State.
Debbie Smith (NCAT) registered 22 points and four rebounds in an overtime loss to Norfolk State.
Malia Tate-DeFreitas (HAM) finished with 30 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 75-36 win against North Carolina Central.
Kailyn Williams (B-CU) grabbed 13 rebounds, including 12 defensively, along with eight blocks, in a 55-48 win against Morgan State.
Kourtney Williams (SCSU) scored a career-high 37 points, including 15 free throws, in a 79-75 victory over Norfolk State.
