NORFOLK, Va. – Maryland Eastern Shore senior Mariana Alvarado was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Alvarado (Sr., Leon, Mexico) finished fourth overall, out of 100 bowlers, and was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Mid-Winter Invitational. In team games, Alvarado rolled 47 strikes and averaged a 207.10 total pinfall. She threw a game-high 234 in a win against No. 15 Valparasio.

Other Top Performers: 

Carrie Hickey (NSU) posted third-highest pinfall average of 202.4 at the Fred Underwood Classic.
