DeLAND, Fla. -- Delicia Pierre had 17 kills, and Rhea Simon double-doubled with 13 kills and 15 digs in Bethune-Cookman's 3-1 (22-18, 22-15, 22-25, 25-19) loss at Stetson Wednesday night.
Normarie Rolon had 19 kills for the Lady Cats (2-13) while Hazel Ortiz Rosado posted seven kills, 33 assists and four blocks. Lauren Turner contributed five kills and six blocks.
B-CU scored the final five points of third set -- four on Rolon's service run, to extend the match. The Lady Cats had fought back from a 15-12 deficit to tie it at 19-19.
The Lady Cats host South Carolina State in their home opener Friday at 7 p.m.
