Parham fares well in Canadian NBL All-Star Game

HALIFAX, NOVIA SCOTIA - Former University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball star, Tim Parham, participated in the National Basketball League of Canada All-Star Game on Sunday and the forward led the Atlantic Division to a 170-165 win over the Central Division. Parham was selected to the All-Star Team at the beginning of April.
 
The 6-foot-9 forward brought down a game-high 17 rebounds and chipped in with 15 points for the Atlantic Division. He recently set the Canadian NBL regular season rebounding record after he posted 429 boards with the Halifax Rainmen. Upon the conclusion of the regular season, Parham ranked fourth in field goal percentage (55.4%) and seventh in blocks-per-game (1.13).
 
Parham and the Rainmen were recently knocked out of the Canadian NBL playoffs by the Island Storm in the second-round. This past season was Parham's eighth in professional basketball.
