NORFOLK, Va. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host its 2014 Men’s Golf Tournament Championship April 25-27 at the Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Ga.
The championship will feature Bethune-Cookman, Florida A&M, Hampton, Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina Central and Savannah State. The winner receives an automatic qualification to the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship. The Division I Men’s Golf Selection Show will air Monday, May 5 at 10 a.m. on the Golf Channel.
The three-round championship will be played over a three-day period, beginning April 25 at 8 a.m. with the opening round. The final round will begin at 8 a.m on Saturday, April 27. Pairings will be announced on Thursday, April 24, and live scoring will be available during the match.
The Crosswinds Golf Club is a unique par-72 course with narrow fairways and features five par 5s and five par 3s, along with TiFeagle greens and Bermuda fairways.
