NORFOLK, Va. – University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Megan Buja and Norfolk State’s Thea Aspiras were named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Co-Bowling Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Buja (Sr., Rockford, Ill.) posted the highest overall pinfall average (219.2) of any UMES bowler at the MEAC Northern Divisional #3. Buja rolled a high 237 in a win against Coppin State.
Aspiras (Sr., Chesapeake, Va.) finished third among individual pinfall averages (196.8) at the MEAC Southern Divisional 3. Aspiras bowled a 226 in a victory over North Carolina A&T.

Ivory Miles (BCU) bowled a 229 against Florida A&M at the MEAC Southern Divisional #3.
Stephanie Sheridan (DSU) rolled a 233 in a win against Howard at the MEAC Northern Divisional #3.
