NSU-Howard Softball Series Shifted to Norfolk
NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State-Howard softball games set for this weekend in Washington, D.C. have instead been relocated to Norfolk. The two teams will play their three-game MEAC series at the NSU Softball Field beginning on Sunday.
Inclement weather throughout the week and poor field conditions prevented the two teams from playing at Howard. They will now play a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Norfolk State, followed by a single game on Monday at noon.
The series was originally set to be played Saturday and Sunday, but rain in the forecast for Saturday in Norfolk pushed back the start of the series by one day.
Howard will still be the home team for all three games.
Live stats and live video will be available for all three games.
