Tyshawn Bell added 15 points for the Hornets. He had three three-point field goals to move into a tie with Miles Davis (2000-04) for fifth on the school's career list with 159.
Delaware State was 24-for-63 from the field (38.1%), including nine-of-25 from three-point territory (36%). The Hornets hit 13 of 19 at the free throw line (68.4%).
