NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central senior Khyra Conerly was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Morgan State’s Tykyrah Williams earned the Rookie of the Week honors, while Bethune-Cookman senior Terrenisha Hollis was named the Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Conerly (G., 5-5, Sr., Oakland, Calif.) registered 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field, while grabbing nine rebounds and two steals in a 64-59 win against Western Carolina.
Williams (F, 5-10, Fr., Durham, N.C.) averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals against Georgia and Georgia Tech. She scored 13 points, snagged five rebounds, dished out three assists, and had three steals against Georgia Tech.
Hollis (G, 6-0, Sr., G, Birmingham, Ala.) tallied 12 rebounds (eight defensive), and six steals in games against Florida Atlantic and Stetson. She grabbed four defensive rebounds, four steals, and one block against Stetson. In addition, Hollis added 12.0 points per game, including 18 points and seven boards against Florida Atlantic.

Christina Carter (NCAT) finished with seven steals, seven points and four assists against Navy.
Kendra Cooper (BCU) scored a career-high 25 points in a game against Stetson.
Rae Corbo (NSU) dropped in 23 points and two assists in a loss to Morehead State.
Racquel Davis (NCCU) registered 12 points and eight rebounds in a 64-59 win against Western Carolina.
Malia Tate-DeFreitas (HAM) recorded a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds against Northwestern.
Kala Green (NCAT) finished with eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in a win over Navy.
Ivy Harrington (MSU) poured in 20 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes against Georgia Tech.
Tierra Hawkins (DSU) logged her first double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds against Binghamton.
Aprill McRae (NCAT) registered 12 points and four rebounds in a 52-47 win over Navy.
Kayla Roberts (NSU) recorded 11 points, four rebounds and four steals against Morehead State.
Jordan Swails (CSU) tallied 16 points and eight rebounds in 32 minutes against N.C. State.
