NORFOLK, Va. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced today that the 2014 MEAC Volleyball Championship will be televised live on ESPN3. The match is scheduled for Noon at Coppin State University on Sunday, November 23 and will air on ESPNU at 9 p.m. in a tape-delayed broadcast.
“The MEAC is proud of its continued partnership with ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports,” said MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas. “We are excited about the opportunity to have our volleyball championship match televised on ESPNU, which will further showcase our outstanding student-athletes and coaches.”
The MEAC Volleyball Championship has been streamed live the past four years on www.meacsports.com. This will be the first broadcast on ESPNU/ESPN3 since 2009.
The 2014 MEAC Volleyball Championship, celebrating its 30th anniversary, begins on Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23 at the Physical Education Complex on the campus of Coppin University in Baltimore, Maryland.
