NEW YORK — Three-time National Champion and reigning United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Queens winner, Maria Rodriguez, will be featured this week on American Latino TV in an episode airing over the weekend, October 25-26.

The episode will feature a segment on Rodriguez who will discuss her love of bowling, her journey from Ibague Tolima, Colombia to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), her success for the Hawks and how the sport has changed her life, enabling her to become a professional bowler in the United States.

The episode coincides with October being National Learn to Bowl month.

Rodriguez won three National Championships with UMES, claiming both the NCAA title in 2008 and 2011 and the USBC Collegiate National Championship in 2011.  She earned six different All-America honors during her time with the Hawks and was named the National Player of the Year in 2011.

She won the Queens title in July of this year for her first major professional title.
