JONESBORO, Ark. – The No. 20 Bethune-Cookman University bowling team wrapped up the second day at the Mid-Winter Invitational on Saturday, participating in traditional matches at the Jonesboro Bowling Center. B-CU will enter Sunday’s bracket portion of the event as the No. 11 seed.
A day after participating in five baker matches, the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats regrouped and took to the lanes on Saturday for traditional play.
The Cats entered the second day with a total pinfall count of 4,323.
B-CU used strong play from Felicia Baker on Saturday, as she registered high games of 226 and 208, respectively. Teammate Natalee Armstrong recorded a high game of 205, while Krysta Coleman put up three 180-plus games on the day.
Rebecca Gomez also gathered a 200-plus performance on the strength of a 202 game.
As the No. 11 seed for Sunday’s bracket portion, Bethune-Cookman will open the day against Tulane at 9 a.m. (CST). On the weekend, B-CU holds a record of 1-8.
