NORFOLK, Va.- Morgan State guard Bianca Jarrett was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. North Carolina Central's Tisha Dixon earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Savannah State's Erin Hogue and South Carolina State's Fannie Goodwin earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Jarrett (Guard, 5-5, Sr., Kenosha, Wis.) scored a game-high 27 points on 10-of-17 from the floor (58-percent) and 6-of-11 from 3-point range (55-percent) in a 65-28 win over Maryland Eastern Shore. She added six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 25 minutes of play.
Dixon (Forward, 5-11, Fr., Kinston, N.C.) scored a team-high 12 points and added 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season against Savannah State. She shot 75-percent from both the floor (3-of-4) and the charity stripe (3-of-4).
Hogue (Forward, 5-11, Sr., Birmingham, Ala.) pulled down 15 rebounds, stole two passes and blocked one shot in a four-point loss to North Carolina Central. Offensively, she added 15 points.
Goodwin (Center, 6-2, Sr., Hopkins, S.C.) totaled 15 rebounds, two blocks and two steals against Florida A&M and North Carolina A&T. For the week she combined for 14 points to aid the Lady Bulldogs to a 1-1 mark.

Keiara Avant (HAM) added two double-doubles to her 17 on the season in games against Delaware State (19 point, 13 rebounds) and Florida A&M (19 points, 15 rebounds).
JaQuayla Berry (NCAT) pulled down eight rebounds and stole two passes against South Carolina State.
Ashleigh Claybrooks (UMES) totaled 12 points and 13 rebounds against Howard and Morgan State.
Cheyenne Curley-Payne (Howard) combined for 21 points, 13 rebounds, 16 assists and nine steals against Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State.
Tracy King (NCAT) led the Lady Aggies with 12 points and three rebounds in a 59-54 win against South Carolina State.
Tiara Knotts (SCSU) averaged 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in two wins last week.
Quinneshia Leonard (NSU) tallied a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Bethune-Cookman.
Aivah Parham (NSU) led the Spartans in scoring with 21 points, two rebounds, and two assists against Bethune-Cookman.
Chastity Rene Taylor (B-CU) averaged 23.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 steals to aid the Lady Wildcats to a 1-1 mark last week.
Eboni Ross (NCAT) recorded 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds against South Carolina State.
Alexis Udoji (UMES) pulled down seven rebounds and blocked five shots in two games for the Lady Hawks.
