SC State Falls To Presbyterian In Men?s Tennis Action

The South Carolina State men's tennis team suffered its second loss of the season in a tough 5-2 defeat to Presbyterian College on Wednesday at Templeton Tennis Courts.

Coach Hardeep Judge's and the Bulldogs (1-2) played without top senior player Peteris Vinogradvos dropped the doubles point early in the contest with Andrew Brigham/William O'Connell def. Anton Protsenko/Artemiy Nikitin (8-6) and Rafael Berghaus /Grayson Mills defeated Aziz Yuldashev/Marius Dragoi 8-4.

SC State posted victories singles action with junior Artemiy Nikitin def. Rafael Berghaus at the No. 3 spot 6-4, 6-2, while freshman Marius Dragoi knocked off Gonzalo Asis 7-6, 6-4 at the No.6 spot.
