Andrea Pavlovic were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week the conference announced on Wednesday.
Victoria Williams of Florida A&M received Women's Rookie of the Week honors, while
Robin Riethmueller of Norfolk State was named Men's Rookie of the Week, respectively.
Kibet (So., Nairobi, Kenya) was 4-0 in singles and doubles action against Webber International and Hampton last week. He won a 5-7, 6-3, 10-4 decision against Webber International's Tiago Oliveira and followed with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 win against Hampton's Valentin Bayh. He also captured the doubles points in both matches.
Pavlovic (Jr., Belgrade, Serbia) captured wins in both doubles and singles play in win against Albany State. She won the point 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot and teamed with Esmira Gheisary to win the doubles point 8-2.
Williams (Fr., Miami, Fla.) was 4-0 in non-conference matches against Hampton and Florida Atlantic last week. She won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 spot against Hampton and won a three-set victory 6-0, 4-6, 10-3 against Florida Atlantic. She also teamed with Alexis Dean to win the doubles points 8-0 against Hampton and 8-1 against Florida Atlantic, respectively.
Riethmueller (Fr., Balingen, Germany) won the point at the No. 3 spot with a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Liberty.

C. Salif Kante was 2-1 in singles and doubles action at the number one position against South Florida and Stetson.
Tiffany Williams (SSU) was 2-0 with wins at the No. 6 singles position and No. 3 doubles spot against Albany State.
