MEAC ANNOUNCES BOWLING WEEKLY HONORS

Maryland Eastern Shore's Anggie Ramirez was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Ramirez (5-7, Sr., Bogota, Columbia) finished third in the field at the Capital Classic, knocking down 1,118 total pins and averaging 223.6 in Team games to earn All-Tournament Team honors. Ramirez led UMES to its sixth first-place finish in an event this season, rolling four of five Team games over 200. The Lady Hawks were 5-0 in Team games and 8-0 in Baker play.

Other Top Performers:

Kayla Meadows (MSU) led the Lady Bears with 970 total pinfall and a 194.0 average at the Capital Classic.

Emily Strombeck (NCAT) placed 12th overall in the field at the Capital Classic, averaging a 206.4 and knocking down 1,032 total pins to help the Lady Aggies to a seventh-place finish.
